Step: Graph String Collection Filter

This step compares a data property from your default graph against a collection that contains strings (text). Multiple conditions can be applied and combined with an AND or an OR. If the conditions match, the package continues down the True [+] side of the step. If the conditions do not match, the package continues down the False [-] side.

Requires a String Collection

  • Choose Property: the data property predicate of the incoming object you want to compare with the collection. For this step, the value of this property should be of type "String".
  • aa or Aa: Sets the case-sensitive option. aa ignores case in the match, and Aa must match the case
  • Comparator
    • Contains - something in the collection is either the same as or contains a portion of the input
    • Equals - something in the collection exactly equals all of the characters in the input
    • Starts With - something in the collection exactly starts with the characters in the input
    • Ends With - something in the collection exactly end with the characters in the input
    • Matches Regex - a regular expression in the collection matches the characters in the input
    • Contained By - all of the characters in one of the collection items matches a portion of the input
  • Select Collection: the name of the Collection containing the list of strings to match
  • Add a new condition: Click the plus button to add a new set of conditions, and choose to combine them all with either AND or OR.
  • The header of each condition section can be collapsed by using the triangle on the far left of the section name. The section names contains a summary of the condition section.
  • Click the red X icon next to any section to remove that section from the step settings.
